At the heart of Haida Heritage Centre is the Stlaay Daw Naay Greeting House where visitors enter a large open space radiating with natural light. Visitors will experience a welcoming atmosphere and spectacular view of the beach, islands, and ocean beyond. Here, you will be greeted by images of our Hereditary leaders and clan crests, Raven and Eagle. Great for weddings, dinners and conventions
Gina Guu Aahljuu Naay
Performance House
Designed after a traditional Haida longhouse, fitted with pit-style seating, and large two-beam style Haida architecture. The traditional setting is ideal for storytelling and Haida song and dance performances, ceremonies, weddings, performances, announcements, meetings and other special events.

On display guests can gain an insight into the gathering, preparation, and preservation of traditional foods. In addition, the Ga Taa Naay offers light snacks and refreshments to visiting guests. Space rental does not include kitchen use – includes sitting area only.

Yaahl SGwaansing Naay - Solitary Raven House
This is a classroom for a wide variety of educational opportunities and arts instruction to take place. With large windows facing the shore it offers exceptional light for art courses, is equipped with a vintage dark room for anyone curious about learning antique photography techniques. It is large enough that small or large projects can be worked on inside and it is designed to withstand artistic battering.
