It is easier to get here than you think!

The Haida Heritage Centre at Qay’llnagaay is located in the community of Skidegate on Graham Island, one of the two main islands in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii), which is a scenic archipelago of over 150 islands separated from the BC Mainland by Hecate Strait.

The other main island is Moresby Island to the south, where Sandspit Airport is located.

By Air from Vancouver to Sandspit

Air Canada Jazz has daily nonstop flights leaving from Vancouver International Airport’s Main Terminal. It is less than a 2-hour flight to Sandspit Airport on Moresby Island.

To get from Alliford Bay to Sandspit (20 min. drive) you can either rent a car from the Sandspit airport or take the shuttle service, which meets daily scheduled flights. BC Ferries Connector Service: BC Ferries has frequent sailings of the Kwuna vehicle ferry (12 each day) from Alliford Bay (Moresby Island) to Skidegate (Graham Island)

By Air from Vancouver to Masset

Pacific Coastal Airlines operates flights from Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal to Masset (on the northern part of Graham Island, less than a 90-minute drive north of Skidegate).
