In 1995, Skidegate Band Council established the Qay'llnagaay Heritage Centre Society (QHCS) for fundraising purposes.   The Society successfully raised money for the Pole Raising initiatives - Phases I and II.   The Society also focuses on the operational aspects of the Heritage Centre.   Skidegate Band Council comprises the Board Members with Skidegate Band members appointed by Council.
